Before You Start
Account deletion is permanent and data may not be recoverable. Export or back up anything you want to keep from the app first. If you have a Premium subscription, also cancel it in your store, because deleting your account does not cancel it automatically.
Delete Your Account in the App (fastest)
The fastest way is to delete your account from inside the Veroster app — go to Settings → Account → Delete account and type your email to confirm. Your account and related data are removed right after you confirm. (This deletes the account itself, not just the app from your device.)
If you cannot open the app or sign in, use the email request method below instead.
How to Request Deletion by Email
- Send an email from the same email address used for your Veroster account to [email protected]
- Use the subject line Delete my Veroster account
- Include your Veroster account email address and confirm that you want your account and related data deleted
- We may ask for additional verification before processing the request to protect your account from unauthorized deletion
Please send the request from the email address connected to your account. If you no longer have access to that email address, include details that can help verify account ownership.
Data We Delete
After a request is verified, we will delete or de-identify personal data connected to your account where technically possible and legally permitted. This may include:
- Your Veroster account, email address, display name, profile, and account settings
- Personal schedule data, Shift Types, groups, patterns, rotations, events, activities, notes, locations, pay rules, and reports generated from your data
- Backup data, export metadata, calendar subscription tokens, push notification tokens, and sync data linked to your account
- Team data, chats, contacts, invitations, and trade records owned by your account, subject to shared workspace limitations
Data We May Retain
We may retain some data temporarily or in limited form for legal, security, transaction, or shared-workspace integrity reasons, such as:
- Security records, audit logs, crash or diagnostic records, and rate-limit records
- Support emails and communication history needed to process the request
- Purchase or subscription records that must be verified with Google Play, the App Store, or accounting requirements
- Data in backups that will be deleted according to the system backup retention cycle
If we retain any information, we keep only what is necessary for those purposes.
Processing Time
We typically respond to deletion requests within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days after identity verification, unless some information must be retained longer for legal, dispute, security, or payment-system reasons.
After Deletion
After your account is deleted, you may not be able to recover schedules, reports, chats, teams, or other data connected to that account. Calendar subscription URLs and tokens linked to the account will stop working once the data is deleted.
